Our renewable energy solutions.

Solar

Key facts about our solar business

Today LANGA International operates more than 40 MWp, spread over several territories. All these plants are managed by LANGA International's local teams. Our strategy is based on a dynamic of concerted deployment with local players, to participate in the development of more responsible local energy independence.

Types of installation

Ground-mounted solar: LANGA International works on generally degraded land: wasteland, desert areas, former quarries, former landfill sites or low-yield agricultural land. These projects can be optimised by installing tracker systems to follow the sun's cycle and maximise electricity production.

Agrisolar/Agrivoltaics: These projects make it possible to produce green electricity while preserving the agricultural vocation of the land. LANGA International is also working on dynamic agrivoltaics solutions: a solution based on the synergy between electricity production and the maintenance of agricultural production according to the vagaries of the weather.

Solar Roofing or Umbrellas: these installations make it possible to optimise areas that initially had no added value, while generating income through the production of electricity. These installations are very often developed on the roofs of industrial or agricultural buildings, car parks in commercial areas or sports complexes.

One of Langa International's major assets is its ability to develop innovative solutions to meet the various constraints faced by its customers.

Wind power

With its extensive experience in France and abroad, LANGA INTERNATIONAL has mastered the entire value chain involved in developing wind energy projects. Our strategy is based on a model of openness to different opportunities, either through our own deployment of large-scale projects or through the acquisition of assets under development.

A strong regional development drive

LANGA INTERNATIONAL develops, finances and builds onshore wind farms in Italy, France and Chile. The company's strong capacity for deployment lies in its overall mastery of every stage of a project, as well as in the flexibility with which it structures its financial packages.

Hydroelectricity

Our expertise enables us to develop our own projects, but also to re-energise existing power stations, in order to optimise their production and availability. One of the main challenges we face in this sector today is developing medium-sized hydroelectric power stations that have minimal impact on local ecosystems.

Committed projects

Indigenous populations are involved from the design stage of projects. Local players also benefit from a significant redistribution of the economic spin-offs from the project to finance the economic development of landlocked regions.

LANGA INTERNATIONAL continues to deploy its expertise in close partnership with local stakeholders.

Storage

The production of solar energy is one of the major avenues for the development of renewable electrical energy. Drawing on its experience in developing various types of solar power plants, LANGA International has stepped up its strategy of deploying large-scale production units offering competitive production costs. Well-designed solar power plants are an asset for the economic development and enhancement of a region. They are even a source of biodiversity, creating significant protected areas. For us, these advantages are important in our technical and development choices.

Types of installation

Storage is the best response to the intermittent nature of renewable energies. With its cost divided by three over the last four years, storage can now be deployed on an industrial scale, opening up new horizons in energy efficiency: smoothing of production injected into networks, network services, eligibility for non-interconnected markets. In particular, since 2010 we have been developing systems in Corsica capable of optimising the injection of electricity into the grid in order to cope with fluctuations in demand and cover peaks in consumption.
